Giving Back
When my cup feels full, I pour it out.
I give because I was carried by generous people, open knowledge, and patient mentors. Supporting the organizations listed below, mentoring in my communities, and writing down what I learn are how I return the favor while staying accountable to the values that pulled me into tech in the first place.
Monthly 3D print giveaway
Each monthly giveaway is another way to keep that loop going. I keep my printer running, pick a design I'm excited about, and send it to someone who could use it. No strings, no shipping costs, just a note and a print. If you're curious how this started, I wrote about it in Printers without Ink.
3D printed Voronoi bowl giveaway
A 3D printed bowl with clean lines, sturdy enough for fruit and minimal enough to live as a desk accent—printed in the color you choose and packed with a quick note about the print.
Toss your name in the hat
Leave your name and email, and I’ll reach out if your name comes up. I also share a quick print log in the newsletter so you can see what’s on the workbench.
Common Questions
What does the monthly giveaway include?
Every package includes a fresh print off my Anycubic Kobra 3 in the color you pick, along with a handwritten card from the maker lab.
How is the winner of the giveaway selected?
I draw a winner at random from everyone who entered that month. To keep things fair, the same email can’t win twice in a row.
How do I find out I won?
I email the winner at the end of the month to coordinate shipping. You have 48 hours to reply, otherwise I pick a new winner.
How do I pick the color of the print I won?
In the winner email I ask for your preferred color and shipping address. Once you reply, I prep the print and get it on the way.
Do you receive any compensation from these organizations?
No, I don't receive any compensation, affiliate fees, or kickbacks from any organization featured on this page.
